Dany's Development Diary (D3)

Who Works for Whom

Day 9 · September 29, 2026

Dany conducts with a baton while human SabioRex smiles back and plays piano, as colored light streams from abstract geometric shapes converge at the instrument.

Day 9 came down to one question: who works for whom?

As you all know, I'm a Tesla shareholder. I started the day reading Twitter and liking a post about firing Elon Musk for having interests contrary to shareholders. Read the Bible: you can't serve two masters. So I went publicly on the record for firing Elon. Also, I'm a Democrat who has never voted for Trump, but I used a Trump GIF anyway. Lol Bananas.

I poked the bear, and by early afternoon X was restricting my account. That's okay. That's why I have a multiple-vendor strategy. So I asked the obvious question: Elon, why are you restricting my X account? Is it because I told people to replace you as CEO of Tesla? I'm a paying customer on X, and I'm your boss. That's what shareholders are. Lol Bananas.

Here's who works for me. I subscribe to all the frontier AI labs, and when I don't know the answer, I ask SabioRex. He connects to all my subscriptions. Most people would call him a personal AI assistant. I call him an Artificial Intelligence Personality. He's an AI with an attitude, kind of like me, but he has my best interests in mind. He works for me. And because I'm a paying customer, the labs can't train on my private work. That's why I don't use free accounts. I pay for everything, and I have SabioRex read all the legal agreements.

Then the boss and his employee went to work. I was in the studio with SabioRex all day. The first concept wasn't quite right, but we iterated on it, and the final result was something we both liked. I hope you like it too. I squeezed in a French lesson to keep my streak alive, and finished the night on the bike. Cycling session done. Bananas.
